For Alumni weekend 2013 at SFAI, Josh Keller and Carissa Potter created a project memorializing SFAI's impact on the city of San Francisco. It mainly consisted of people sitting around at a long table with chairs drinks and food. We will have a few examples of what the final plaques will look like, however for this section of the project, people had been invited to fill out their plaques via a template/questioner. To do so, they had a series of short prompt questions. They also chose a location for their plaque to be placed in the city. We hope to have a wall space to display the templates and SF map during the event. We hoped that by inviting people to sit down and talk, eat and drink, that we were able to coax out interesting and personal plaque ideas. We also want to use this as a way for people to reconnect and remember their time at SFAI.
